The applicants seek permission to intervene in the present proceedings since according to them an objection has been raised to the inclusion of their names in the provisional voters list.
Considering the nature of relief sought in the writ petition, the learned counsel for the applicants has been heard by permitting him to address on that aspect. The civil application is therefore disposed of. WRIT PETITION NO.2679/2022.
The only relief sought by the petitioner is a decision on the application dated 29.12.2021 that has been moved by the petitioner seeking deletion of the names of fifty three members from the final voters list on the ground that they have incurred disqualification. It is pointed out that the final voters list would be published on 21.06.2022.
Considering the fact that the application has been moved on 29.12.2021 the respondent no.3-Assistant Registrar is directed to decide the aforesaid application moved by the petitioner by 20.06.2022 in accordance with law. All points raised on behalf of the petitioner as well as the applicants in C.A.W. No.1240 of 2022 are being kept open for being considered by the respondent no.3-Assistant Registrar.
