Shri Thakare, the learned counsel for the petitioners states that the grievance of the petitioners stands redressed in view of the statement made in para 5 of the affidavit-in-reply filed on behalf of the respondent no.4 that since the petitioners were appointed before the cut off date, the old pension scheme of the year 1982 would apply in their case.

In view of the statement made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, based on the statement made in para 5 of the affidavitin-reply filed on behalf of the respondent no.4, we dispose of the writ petition with no order as to costs.
