In the present matter, the prayer is for direction to the learned Trial Court to decide the trial expeditiously within a period of six months.

The Hon'ble Supreme Court, time and again, deprecated such practice expediting the trials without sufficient data available on record as regards the pendency of the matters before such court.

In the present matter, no such data is given in the application and considering the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of M. Gopalakrishnan and others .vs. Pasumpon Muthuramalingam and another, reported in 2022 LiveLaw (SC) 298, such prayer cannot be granted. Accordingly, the application is dismissed.
