The order dated 19.05.2022 passed by the Divisional Commissioner granting status quo as regards correction of revenue record, is under challenge in this writ petition.

The status quo granted by the Divisional Commissioner is in operation since last about two years. The appeal is pending before the Divisional Commissioner for hearing. Moreover, there is no interim relief granted in favour of the petitioners in writ petition. In the circumstances, I am of the opinion that, the ends of justice would be sub-served if the Commissioner is directed to decide the appeal within stipulated period.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. C.L. Dhakate

The Divisional Commissioner is directed to decide the appeal within two months from today. 4.
