31.10.2023 Apprehension of the petitioner of his arrest, has been put to rest by the investigating agency by filing additional affidavit, stating therein that his arrest is not required.

The investigating agency shall continue with the investigation and file charge-sheet.

In the circumstances, the purpose will be served by giving direction to the investigating agency that in the event of decision of arrest, notice of 72 hours will be given to the petitioner.

The writ petition is disposed of in terms of the above.
