The petitioner seeks release on furlough for a period of 28 days and quashing of the order passed by the respondent no.1 dated 4/2/2020. The application for furlough, as filed by the petitioner, was rejected by the respondent no.1, on the ground that on the last occasion when the petitioner was released on furlough, he did not surrender on due date and was required to be arrested and brought back, which was after a period of 3708 days. This action on the part of the petitioner itself speaks voluminous
0708LD-VC-WP393.2020.odt as to his conduct, in light of which, we do not find any fault in the order passed by the respondent no.1. The criminal writ petition is therefore rejected.
