The challenge to the impugned order dated 3rd April, 2018 is not pressed as on merits the Court is not inclined, in view of the adverse caste entries of pre-independence era against the petitioner. 2.

That being so, the petition stands disposed of as not pressed. 3.

However, we make it clear that it shall be open for the petitioner to seek absorption of his service on supernumerary post in view of existing policy of the Government.

In case, such prayer is made, the employer is directed to deal with the such prayer expeditiously.
