The petitioner is claiming to be the lease holder of the land in question, owned by the respondent Nos. 2 to 11 and acquired by the State for Jeagaon Project. 2.

After a long gap of passing of award, he raised objection to disbursement of the amount and claimed share in the amount of compensation. The said objection came to be rejected on the ground that there is no title in favour of the petitioner.

In the present petition, while raising a challenge to the order dated 09.07.2024 rejecting such objection, the petitioner is not able to point out any right of the petitioner in the said land to claim share in the compensation.

In the circumstances, we do not find any error committed by the Sub Divisional Officer, in rejecting the objection raised by the petitioner.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. No order as to costs.
