By this civil application, the petitioner seeks a direction against the respondents to permit the petitioner to continue on the post of Dean, Faculty of Veterinary Science.

The relief sought by the petitioner cannot be granted. When the petitioner was due to retire on attaining the age of superannuation, this Court had merely issued Rule by the order, dated 26/02/2015 and had granted liberty to the petitioner to apply for interim protection only in the event the Executive Council passes a resolution for extending the age of superannuation to 62 years and the same is approved by the State Government. It is stated that there is no approval of the State Government to the extension of age of superannuation.

In view of the aforesaid, the civil application stands disposed of.
