By way of this application, the applicant/respondent No.1 is seeking permission to withdraw the amount deposited by the petitioners towards back-wages to the tune of Rs.7,35,475/-. 2.

Admittedly, the amount deposited by the petitioners is as per the calculation made by the petitioners and therefore, without prejudice to the rights of the respondents about correctness of calculations made by the petitioners as regards back-wages, I am of the opinion that the permission should be granted to the respondent No.1 to withdraw the said amount with interest, if any, accrued thereon, subject to filing of an undertaking, in writing within two weeks from today, to the effect that in case the respondent No.1 fails in the present writ petition, he will deposit the amount back in the Court with 6 % per annum simple interest.

The application is disposed of accordingly.
