Advocate Shri Sohoni appears for respondent nos.1 to 3 and Learned Assistant Government Pleader Ms Mehta appears for respondent no.5. Petition against respondent no.4 is dismissed in default on 18/1/2007. No steps have been taken for past 11 years to get it restored.

Learned Counsel for respondent nos.1 to 3 points out that present writ petition was to be heard along with Writ Petition No.2665/2000 as per order dated 1/3/2005 and that petition is dismissed by reasoned judgment on 1/2/2018. He has also produced copy of judgment for our perusal. 4.
In present matter, this Court granted status quo on 28/6/2004 and that order continues to operate even today.

In this situation, we prefer to dismiss the writ petition for want of prosecution with costs of Rs.2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousand Only) payable to High Court Services Legal Aid Authority. Rule stands discharged.
