Mrs. K.S. Joshi, learned A.G.P. for respondent, produces order dated 15.7.2017 passed by the Scheduled Tribe Certificate Scrutiny Committee, Amravati Region, Amravati invalidating caste claim of the petitioner. The Vice-Chairman of the Committee is also present in person.

As the order stands complied with, we are not inclined to keep the matter pending. Mr. A. Deshpande, Advocate for petitioner, submits that there is unreasonable delay in adjudication of controversy. Considering large number of matters which are required to be looked into by the Committee, we find submission not proper in the present matter.

Civil Application moved by the respondent Committee vide Stamp No. 12066/17 is still pending.

All other contentions on merit and challenge to the order dated 15.7.2017 are kept open. With liberty to the petitioner to take further appropriate steps, we dispose of the Contempt Petition. No costs.
