ATED : 8th May, 2020 Mr. Dhoble, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that vide order dated 15th April 2020, this Court has granted extension of parole leave to the petitioner and directed him to appear before the concerned Amravati prison on 10.5.2020. He further submits that due to the lockdown by the Government in view of Covid 19 pandemic and present precarious condition ; so also lack of transportation facility and since, at present, the petitioner is at Nasik, he is unable to reach Amravati prison. For the reasons aforementioned, the learned counsel for the petitioner requests for extension of parole upto 15th May 2020 and one week thereafter.

Heard Mr. V.P. Thakre, the learned APP. It is not disputed that the lockdown period is extended by the Government till 17th May 2020 in view of the Covid-19 pandemic. Keeping in view the

08.05.LCVC.58.20 aforesaid facts and circumstances, the time period for parole leave is extended up to 17th May 2020 and one week thereafter, to enable the petitioner to appear before the concerned prison. With the above directions, the Criminal Writ Petition stands disposed of.
