Heard learned counsel for the respective parties.
Considering the law laid down by the Full Bench Judgment of this Court in the case of Arun s/o Vishwanath Sonone ..vs.. State of Maharashtra & ors, reported at 2015(1) Mh.L.J. 457, Shri Mohd. Ateeque, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the caste claim of the petitioner as belonging to caste "Thakur" (Scheduled Tribe) must be expeditiously considered by respondent No.2 - Caste Scrutiny Committee. He points out that this is third round of litigation before this Court. The petitioner is, thereafter, recently selected as .....2/-
wp3562.14 "Assistant Public Prosecutor".
Shri Abhijeet Deshpande, learned counsel for respondent No.2 - Caste Scrutiny Committee, is pointing out the difficulty faced by respondent No.2 - Caste Scrutiny Committee in the matter.
However, we direct respondent No.2 - Caste Scrutiny Committee to complete the caste verification of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of three months from today. The petitioner to appear before respondent No.2 - Caste Scrutiny Committee on 16.2.2015 and abide by its further instructions in the matter.
With these directions and keeping all the contentions open, we dispose of the writ petition. However, there shall be no order as costs.
