The petitioner's daughter committed suicide for which the Police have registered the offence punishable under Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code. Feeling that the investigation is not properly carried out, the petitioner came to this Court by contending that there was no strong possibility of commission of offence under Section 302 of the IPC and further seeks necessary directions to the Police to carry investigation to that effect.

The petitioner has filed a Pursis stating certain areas on which according to him, no investigation wasmade. According to the petitioner, if the investigation is made in that direction then it may throw a light on the real occurrence.

In view of that, the Investigation Officer is hereby directed to consider the points raised in the

2 12.cri.wp.334.2023 Pursis, which is marked as Annexure-A while carrying the investigation and take the matter to its logical end. 5.

In view of the above direction, petition stands disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach afresh, if occasion so arises.
