A request is made for adjustment of the interest amount on the staff loan facility availed by the petitioner for such period for which he was out of employment.

It is claimed that the petitioner'

s services were terminated for want of production of validity and this Court on 06.06.2016 in Writ Petition No.703 of 2008 directed issuance of validity, which led to reinstatement of the petitioner.

The fact remains that from the date of termination of the petitioner till his reinstatement, the petitioner was saddled with interest liability on the loan facility availed by him. Such loan was availed by the petitioner in the capacity of staff of the respondentBank. 5.

Since the petition remained pending for almost eight years as a consequence of which the petitioner was denied the benefit of his employment, we deem it appropriate to direct the respondentemployer-Bank to consider the petitioner' s request sympathetically

4-WP-1564-2022.odt 2 as regards the rate of interest to be levied/charged against the petitioner on the staff loan.

With these observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. No order as to costs.
