The present application is for condonation of delay which is caused in preferring the appeal against the acquittal.

Learned counsel for the applicant submitted that he came to know about the delivery of judgment on 02/02/2024 thereafter, he approached his counsel, but he could not meet the counsel. Thereafter, the certified copies are obtained, due to which, 37 days delay is caused in preferring the appeal.

Considering the reasons mentioned in the application, which is not contested by the respondent, though notice is served. The application is allowed. Delay of 37 days in filing the appeal is condoned.

The criminal application be registered.
