By this application under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, the applicants have prayed for quashing the First Information Report in Crime No.0148 of 2020 registered against them for the offences punishable under Sections 324, 504, 506 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code. The crime is registered on the report lodged by the non-applicant No.2.

The main contention of the applicants is that the alleged incident is recorded in CCTV installed near the house of the applicant No.2 and it is clear from the recording that the applicants are falsely implicated by the non-applicant No.2. It is further submitted that there was assault on the applicants at the behest of the non-applicant No.2 also and the applicants intend to take appropriate legal action in the matter as the Police Authorities have not taken any action against the non-applicant No.2.

Undisputedly, the investigation is going on and charge-sheet is not yet filed.

In the above facts, we are not inclined to entertain this application, at this stage.
