Heard learned counsel for the parties.

Perused averments in the FIR as well as statements of witness pointed out by the learned Special Counsel for the Forest Department.

It clearly appears from the statements as well as FIR that there is a prima facie evidence against the applicant in indulging in the offence of shooting down the Bluebull.

Looking to very object of the Wildlife Protection Act, I think, in order to have deterrence, the benefit of anticipatory bail cannot be granted. Hence, following order is passed.

ORDER

(i) Criminal Application No.271/2015 is rejected. However, liberty is granted to the applicant to apply for regular bail.
