Hearing was conducted through Video Conferencing and the learned Counsel agreed that the audio and visual quality was proper.

The applicant/accused is claiming regular bail in Crime No.173/2020 registered by Police Station Patur, relating to offence punishable under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988. The allegations against the applicant is of demand of bribe amount of Rs.6000/-. This Court has already granted interim protection to the applicant. There is no allegation that while the applicant was on interim bail, he has misused the liberty. In view of this, the
applicant deserves for grant of regular bail. Hence, the following order.
(i) Criminal Application is allowed.
(ii) The applicant/accused Ramesh Baban Ghogre, is released on bail on his furnishing P.R. Bond of Rs. 15,000/- with one surety in the like amount.
(iii) The applicant/accused shall attend the office of ACB at Akola on every alternate Monday in between 10 a.m. to 12 noon for a period of six months from today.
(iv) The applicant/accused shall not directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case, as also shall not tamper with the evidence.
(v) The applicant/accused shall provide his residential address and cell number to concerned Investigating Officer and shall not change his place of residence without prior intimation to the concerned Investigating Officer.
