It is claimed that against the decision of the Management refusing to confer seniority, Appeal under Rule 12 of the Maharashtra Employees of Private Schools (Conditions of Service) Rules, 1981 is pending before the Education Officer.

We permit the petitioner to appear before the Education Officer on 19th May, 2025, who is directed to decide the said Appeal within a period of eight weeks thereafter.

In case if the appropriate seniority of the petitioner is reckoned and junior to the petitioner is promoted the petitioner to lodge his claim on the promotional post.

The petition stands disposed of. No costs.
