The writ petition is disposed of with the consent of the learned counsel for the parties on the following terms. (1) The communication, dated 11/10/2010 of the Additional Director General of Police as also the order of the Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal, dated 20/04/2015 will not be acted upon and hearing would be granted to the petitioner and the respondent Nos.4 to 7 by the Director General of Police before fixing the deemed date of promotion of the petitioner as Police Wireless Sub-Inspector.

(2) A decision in the matter would be taken by the Director General of Police within a period of two months. (3) No costs.
