Grievance of the petitioner is that the report lodged by him has been treated as Non Cognizable offence and is accordingly registered as N.C.No.64/2024, whereas the report lodged by respondent No.5 - Rajkumar Shahu is treated as First Information Report ("FIR") under Section 154 of the Criminal Procedure Code, 1973.

Accordingly, petitioner has approached this Court to direct the respondents to register the FIR.

In our view, the petitioner has a remedy available in terms of Section 155 of the Criminal Procedure Code, 1973, which he may avail.
