By this writ petition, the petitioner seeks a direction against the State Government to ensure that the Zilla Parishad makes appointments of Shikshan Sevaks as per the Government Resolution, dated 21.10.2002.

A similar question came up for consideration before this Court in Writ Petition No.4265 of 2005 and the Court has dismissed the said writ petition by the judgment, dated 26.09.2008. Also, there are some changes in the policy of the government after the writ petition was filed. The cause for filing the writ petition is rendered infructuous due to passage of time.

Hence, we dismiss the writ petition with no order as to costs. Rule stands discharged.
