Petitioners - strangers claiming to be social workers want to stop construction work undertaken by a public trust on land received by it in donation.

Submission is, construction is without prior sanction and the land has not been converted for non-agricultural user. 3.

Petitioners have not approached authorities functioning under the Maharashtra Public Trusts Act, 1950. 4.

With liberty to petitioners to approach those authorities as per law, we dispose of public interest litigation. No costs.
