None for the petitioner. This Court by order dated 5/10/2017 considering the controversy involved in the petition and considering the reply filed by the State was of the opinion that as the petitioner only challenged the letters of communication/notice dated 4/8/2000 and 10/5/2000 and as it is submitted in the reply filed by the State Government that it was only a paper possession taken by the State, whereas the land is still in physical position of the petitioner, who is cultivating the land, the petitioner can avail other remedies. This Court, with a view to grant one opportunity to the petitioner, adjourned the petition on 13/10/2017.

Today, none appears for the petitioner. It seems that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the petition. The writ petition is dismissed for want of prosecution. JUDGE JUDGE Wadkar
