The applicants are the parents of the main accused Aditya, who allegedly subjected the minor victim to sexual intercourse.

No specific role is attributed to applicant 1 Ravindra, who is the father of the main accused. Applicant 2 allegedly inserted a pill in the private part of the informant causing abortion of the fetus. According to the informant, applicant 2 declared that she was working as maidservant with a Doctor and that she would procure the pill from him, and accordingly she did procure and insert the pill in the private part.

Custodial interrogation does not appear to be

aba451.20.O.odt necessary. The investigation appears to be virtually complete. Qua the arrested accused Aditya the charge-sheet is filed.

In this view of the matter, the interim protection granted vide order dated 30.04.2020 is made absolute, subject to the only modification that till the charge-sheet is filed, the applicants shall attend the concerned police station as and when required by the Investigating Officer. JUDGE NSN
