vs State of Maharashtra, through Collector, Bhandara and others. ------------ Mr. V.R.Baseshankar and Subodh Taywade, Advocate for petitioners. Ms T. H. Khan, Assistant Government Pleader for respondent no.1 & 2. -------- CORAM :- NITIN W. SAMBRE AND MRS. VRUSHALI V. JOSHI, JJ. DATE :- 11th NOVEMBER, 2024 P. C.

Not on board. On mentioning, taken on board. 2.

The challenge raised in the petition is to the award dated 30.10.2014 and 23.08.2016.

3.

It is the case of the petitioners that they have sought re-determination of the compensation awarded under the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 in the light of the law laid down by the Allahabad High Court in the matter of Smt. Sabita Sharma and two others vs. State of U.P. and two others (Writ -C No.30088/2022). It is claimed that a prayer to that effect moved by the petitioners is pending with the respondent-authority in the form of representations dated 07.07.2023 and 06.12.2023.

4.

That being so, we deem it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition by permitting the petitioners to appear before the respondent no.2 on 09.12.2024 who is directed to look into the representation of the petitioners in the light of the law laid down by the Allahabad High Court in Smt. Sabita Sharma (supra). The decision taken be accordingly communicated to the petitioners.

5.

With these directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
