The impugned order dated January 18, 2019 passed by the respondent No.2 is quashed and set aside.

We direct the claim of the petitioner for substitution of the candidature for compassionate appointment be considered in the light of the Full Bench judgment of this Court in the matter of Kalpana Wd/o Vilas Taram and another Vs. The State of Maharashtra and others, reported in 2024(4) Mh.L.J. 312.

We permit the petitioner to appear before the respondent No.2 on January 27, 2025.

Let the decision be communicated to the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of appearance of the petitioner. 6.
