Heard Shri Mirza, learned counsel for the applicants and Mrs. Prabhu, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State through Video Conferencing.

The applicants are already protected vide ad-interim bail order dated 18/06/2020.

A perusal of affidavit-in-reply filed on behalf of the State does not reveal any substantive ground for custodial interrogation of the applicants. The role attributed to the applicants are only with regard to restriction of movements of the prosecutrix and the main accused - Mohd. Junaid, who had involved in physical relations with each other on the promise of marriage by the main accused with the prosecutrix.

LDVC-24-ABA357.2020 Considering the nature of allegations, the ad-interim protection granted earlier is hereby confirmed on the same conditions.

The criminal application is allowed and disposed of accordingly.
