D. Dubey, APP for the State/respondent CORAM : M. G. GIRATKAR, J.
DATED : 29/04/2019 Heard learned Advocate Ms. Satpute for the applicant. She has submitted that the house, in which stock of country liquor found, was belonging to the applicant, but it was given on rent. She has pointed out agreement of rent and submitted that the custodial interrogation of the applicant is not necessary. The rent note is placed on record. It is only on simple paper, not on stamp. As per notice issued by Inspector of Excise Department, Pandharkawada, itself shows that the applicant is the owner of the house where the huge stock of country liquor was found. During the Lok Sabha General Elections, it was specifically prohibited to keep the stock of liquor. Looking to the allegations, the applicant is not entitled for any kind of protection. In the result, the application is rejected.
