Smt R. S. Sirpurkar, Advocate for respondent. CORAM : A.S.CHANDURKAR, J.
DATE : July 24, 2019 The petitioner has filed a pursis seeking permission to withdraw the writ petition. On behalf of the respondent it is submitted that Civil Application No.1073/2017 was filed in the present writ petition praying therein that the petitioner be directed to withdraw the abduction charges against the respondent and communicate the same to the U. S. Consulate to enable renewal of passport of the minor daughter Alisha. This civil application was disposed of on 21/07/2017. According to the learned counsel for the respondent since the writ petition was fixed for final disposal the prayers made in that application were not adjudicated. This statement is disputed by the learned counsel for the petitioner. The fact remains that the prayers made in the civil application had not been considered on merits. Accordingly the writ petition is permitted to be withdrawn. The respondent is at liberty to pursue her prayers that were made in Civil Application No.1073/2017 in accordance with law. The Writ Petition is disposed of as withdrawn. No costs. JUDGE Asmita
