Rule. Rule made returnable forthwith. Heard finally with the consent of learned counsel for the parties.

The grievance raised in this writ petition is with regard to non-release of honorarium of the petitioner No.1 for the period from 05/12/2013 to 09/09/2017 and also for payment of regular salary thereafter.

By filing an affidavit dated 15/11/2021, it has been stated that the salary up to 07/09/2017 has been received by the petitioner No.1 and the claim with regard to payment of salary from 08/09/2017 survives.

In the reply filed by the respondent No.3, it has been stated in Paragraph No.6 that the management and the concerned authority of the school failed to forward the requisite proposal of the petitioner No.1 as a result of which it could not be processed further.

The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that within a period of four weeks from today, a fresh proposal seeking release of salary from 08/09/2017 and onward would be submitted in the office of respondent No.3. If such proposal is received by the respondent No.3, the same shall be examined and processed further within a period of four weeks from its receipt.

Necessary consequential action shall be taken thereafter.
