The application is for grant of bail.

One 65 years aged woman was subjected for sexual assault and the alleged incident has taken place in the house of the present applicant. The presence of the present applicant was also noted by the witnesses, in view of that, I have shown my disinclination to grant bail. Hence, learned Counsel for the applicant seeks permission to withdraw the application with direction to expedite the trial. 3.

The application is disposed of as withdrawn.

Considering the fact that applicant is behind bars since 18.07.2022, the learned trial Court

(2) 40.ba.493.2024 shall expedite the trial and shall dispose of within one year.

The fees of the appointed Counsel be quantified as per rules.
