DATE : 19.07.2016 Shri Khamborkar, the learned Counsel for the petitioners states that though the petitioner - Sanstha has appointed the Shikshan Sevaks after securing the due permission from the respondent - Education Officer, the proposal for grant of approval to their appointments is not considered by the Education Officer and no decision is rendered thereon.

Mrs. Deshpande, the learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondent - Education Officer states that the proposal should be tendered to the Education Officer only during the camps that are held in the month of August, October and December. It is stated that the proposal of the petitioners was submitted in January, 2016.

The learned Counsel for the petitioners states that the petitioners would resubmit the proposal in the month of August, 2016 in the camp, when the camp is held, as desired and the same may be decided on merits.

Since the prayer made on behalf of the petitioners is innocuous, we dispose of the writ petition by permitting the petitioners to resubmit the proposal in August, 2016 and by directing the Education Officer (Secondary) to decide the same as early as possible.

Order accordingly. No costs.
