Hearing was conducted through Video Conferencing and the learned Counsel agreed that the audio and visual quality was proper.

Applicant is apprehending to be arrested in Crime No.524/2020 registered at Jalgaon Jamod Police Station, for an offences punishable under Sections 353, 332 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code. The applicant claimed bail by stating that he is innocent person and falsely involved in the case. It is submitted that during the
period while on ad-interim protection, the applicant has abided by the conditions imposed. Lastly, it is argued that in view of the nature of accusation, nothing is to be recovered, hence, prearrest protection be granted. 3.
The State opposed the application by filing affidavit-in-reply.

It is alleged that at relevant time, the informant - a lineman was checking DP at village Akola (Khurd). The applicant caught hold the collar of his uniform and slapped by picking up quarrel. Precisely, it is alleged that the applicant had assaulted public servant to deter him from discharging his official duty. Already statements are recorded and spot panchanama was drawn.
Nothing is to be seized from applicant. The offence attracts maximum punishment of imprisonment upto five years. Having regard to the nature of accusation and gravity of offence, ad-interim protection can be made absolute by imposing certain terms. In view of that, application stands
allowed, ad-interim order dated 21/07/2020 made absolute on same terms and conditions.

Application stands disposed of accordingly.
