DATE : 09.08.2017 Heard respective Counsel. The malpractices in sand excavation are being agitated by petitioner. We find that after filing of present petitions, State Government has come up with various regulatory measures including issuance of transit pass after the sand is loaded in the truck at site through e-mail. Advocate Shri Kulkarni, wants to demonstrate that even in this system the lacunae are being created. The petitions are filed in the year 2014 and 2015. Recently, while deciding identical challenge, this Court has directed the State Government to consider feasibility of providing Global Positioning System (GPS) on such vehicles used for sand transport.

We, therefore, request petitioner to go through these orders and thereafter file appropriate petition, if necessary before this Court.

Accordingly with this liberty, we dispose of present Public Interest Litigations. No costs.

Steno copy of the order is granted.

JUDGE JUDGE Wadkar
