Heard Shri S.M. Nafde, learned counsel for applicant No. 1 - wife and Shri P.S. Tidke, learned counsel for applicant Nos. 2 to 5. Ms. N.P. Mehta, learned APP for the respondent.

Shri Nafde and Shri Tidke, learned counsel jointly state that the matrimonial dispute between applicant No. 1 and applicant No. 2 which led to filing of complaint, ultimately resulted in registration of Crime No. 70 of 2005 under Sections 498-A, 406, 504, 323 and 417 read with Section 34 of Indian Penal Code. They submit that mediation has succeeded and on 15.06.2015 marriage between applicant No. 1 and applicant No. 2 has been dissolved by passing a decree of divorce by mutual consent. They, therefore, jointly request for quashing of said FIR which has been registered as FIR No. 70 of 2014 with Charge Sheet No.38 of 2005 in furtherance thereof.

Applicant No. 1 and applicant No. 2 are present in the Court. They are identified by their respective counsel.
