DATE : 26/07/2022 After hearing the matter for some time, when the Court was not inclined to interfere in the order dated 26.3.2019 passed by the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal (page 102), Mr. Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner, upon instructions, seeks to withdraw the petition. He however makes a request that the time for filing civil suit, as granted by the learned Tribunal be extended by a period of four weeks more.

The statement regarding withdrawal upon instructions is accepted. The petition is dismissed as withdrawn.

Insofar as the time is concerned, the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal (MACP) had already granted time of three months under order dated 26.3.2019, however, the suit has not been filed. Considering the plea raised, time of two weeks is granted from the date of this order to file a civil suit.
