This is an application seeking a direction against non-applicant No.1 Channi Police Station, taluka Patur, district Akola not to take any coercive step against the applicant.

Heard learned counsel Shri S.V.Sohoni for the applicant and learned Additional Public Prosecutor Shri T.A.Mirza for non-applicant No.1/State.

On 11.9.2020, we passed a very detailed order. In the said order, a liberty was granted to the applicant to approach for interim relief before this Court, in case application for grant of pre-arrest bail filed on behalf of the applicant before Sessions Court is rejected.

Learned counsel Shri S.V.Sohoni for the .....2/-
appp903.20 4 applicant, submits that on 19.9.2020 learned Additional Sessions Judge at Akola rejected pre-arrest bail and, therefore, the present application is moved.

In order dated 11.9.2020, we observed that prima facie complainant cannot claim a status of Scheduled Tribe.

In order to avoid bulkiness of order, for reasons stated in order dated 11.9.2020, after hearing learned counsel Shri S.V.Sohoni for the applicant and learned Additional Public Prosecutor Shri T.A.Mirza for the State, until further order, we direct non-applicant No.1 not to take any coercive step against the applicant in connection with Crime No.337/2020 for offences punishable under Sections 341, 427, 504, and 506 of the Indian Penal Code and under Sections 3(1)(f), 3(1)(g), 3(1)(r), and 3(1)(s) of the The Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, in view of report lodged by nonapplicant No.2 with Channi Police Station, taluka Patur, district Akola.
