Choudhari, counsel for the petitioner. CORAM : SMT.VASANTI A. NAIK AND MRS. SWAPNA JOSHI, JJ.
DATE : JULY 13 , 2016.
The only prayer made by the petitioner in the instant petition is for a direction to the respondent no.2 to decide the appeal filed by the petitioner under Section 79 of the Maharashtra Municipal Councils, Nagar Panchayats and Industrial Townships Act, 1965, within a time frame.
Since the prayer made by the petitioner is innocuous and since we find that the appeal is filed in March-2016, without issuing a notice to the respondents, we dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondent no.2 to decide the appeal filed by the petitioner as early as possible and positively within a period of four months from the date of receipt of this order. Order accordingly. No costs.
