Heard learned counsel appearing for the parties.
The application for extension of parole leave is rejected on the ground that the petitioner's father was not suffering from serious ailment which required the petitioner's presence. Perusal of the material placed on record would reveal that father of the petitioner is taking regular treatment. No document is placed on record to show that the petitioner's father was required to be hospitalized. Apart from that, the petitioner has applied for extension of parole leave after the date on which he was required to surrender before the jail authorities.
