By this writ petition, the petitioner challenges the action on the part of the respondents of seizing the N.P. Bore Revolver of the petitioner and not considering his request of returning the same to him.

Shri Doifode, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, states on instructions from the respondent no.2 that the reply of the petitioner to the show cause notice would be considered and an appropriate order would be passed in the matter of the proposed cancellation of the arms license of the petitioner, within one month.

By accepting the statement made on behalf of the respondent no.2, which would be binding on the respondent no.2, we dispose of the writ petition.
