Adjournment is being sought as Shri R.J. Mirza, learned counsel for the petitioner is not available. 2.
Shri Tambde, learned counsel for respondent No. 6, points out that the elections which are questioned in present writ petition are already held in May 2016 and hence there is no cause of action.

Ms. Poonam Moon, Advocate holding for Shri R.J. Mirza, learned counsel for the petitioner, without prejudice to her request for adjournment, submits that if this Court is inclined to pass any orders, challenge in the matter may be kept open.

Mrs. K.S. Joshi, learned Additional GP for respondent Nos. 1 to 3 submits that the challenge is rendered infructuous with the passage of time. 5.
Accepting the statement of Shri Tambde, learned counsel and learned AGP, we dispose of the present writ petition as infructuous. However, all challenges in the matter are kept open with liberty to the petitioner to take such other steps as are open to them in law. No costs. JUDGE JUDGE *GS.
