At this stage, the learned counsel for the applicant submits that instead of rendering an elaborate order, the application be dismissed as withdrawn and the trial be expedited.

The submission is reasonable since even otherwise early trial is the mandate of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (POCSO Act). 4.

The application is dismissed as withdrawn.

The learned trial Judge is requested to immediately proceed with the trial and to conclude the same, as far as possible, within the next six months.
