The petition challenges the formation of Ward. According to petitioner, the formation of Ward has resulted into reduction of size of Ward No.2 and resultantly number of members from 3 to 2.

Unless in the exercise of formation of wards, malafides or arbitrariness are attributed, it will not be permissible for us to interfere with the same. Apart from that, the perusal of the map at page 16 would reveal that the formation of wards is taking into consideration the contingencies of the area.

In that view of the matter, no case is made out to interfere. The petition is rejected.
