CORAM: ROHIT B. DEO, J.

DATE:22.12.2020.

Heard.

2.

The applicant is apprehending arrest in Crime 382/2012, registered with Police Station, Sadar, Nagpur, for offence punishable under sections 403, 406, 465, 467, 481, 420, 120-B, 467, 409, 109 read with section 34 of Indian Penal Code.

3.

The applicant was then working as Manager (Sales) of the UCO Bank. It is alleged that there was a vehicle loans scam in which loans were shown disbursed to fake persons. In so far as the applicant is concerned, the allegation is that he verified the documents pertaining to two borrowers. However, a fair statement is made by the learned APP Mr. N.R. Rode that custodial interrogation is not necessary since the relevant documents are seized and that the amount disbursed is repaid by the co-accused, who probably was the beneficiary of the irregularity.
