This appeal arises out proceedings under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.

The record shows that this matter was placed before the National Lok-Adalat on 8.4.2017. The proceedings of 8.4.2017 show that respondent No.1 Baban Nanaji Khusare paid amount of Rs.54,912/- to the appellant/credit society. He also produced the receipt dated 27.2.2017, which is also available on record.
