DATE : 18-03-2025 Mr. Phadnis, learned Counsel for the respondent Nos. 3 to 14, makes a statement that all these respondents have already superannuated. The challenge is to the validity granted in their favour by the Appellate Authority in the year 1985, which was prior to the Caste Scrutiny Committee constituted by the Act of 2000. The reply filed by the respondent Nos.3 to 14 dated 15-1-2024, para No.6, indicates the respective dates of retirement of the respondent Nos.3 to
14. That being the position, the challenge according to the us, to the validity accorded to them regarding the caste claim made by them, is rendered infructuous.

The petition is, therefore, dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
