Heard.

The applicant is seeking anticipatory bail apprehending arrest in Crime 97 of 2018 in connection with offence punishable under section 65(e) and 83 of the Maharashtra Prohibition Act.

The name of the applicant is disclosed by one Vina Channawar from whose premises the contraband was seized.

The learned APP Shri N.H. Joshi would submit that grant of anticipatory bail would hamper investigation. Considering the material on record, at this stage, the following order would allay the apprehension of the State: (i) In the event of arrest for offence punishable under section 65(e) and 83 of the Maharashtra Prohibition Act in Crime 97 of 2018, the applicant shall be released by furnishing personal bond of Rs. 15,000/- with a solvent

(ii) The applicant shall co-operate with the Investigating Agency and shall attend the Gadchiroli Police Station daily for 15 days between 10.00 a.m. and 2.00 p.m. (iii) If the applicant does not cooperate with the Investigating Agency, the State is at liberty to seek cancellation of bail.

(iv) The applicant shall not tamper with the evidence nor shall applicant directly or indirectly attempt to influence the witnesses in any manner.
